Processing time

Standard artwork normally takes 2–3 days to process before shipping. For custom artwork, processing follows final customer approval and confirmation of order-specific arrangements. Shipping transit time is additional.

Please read these terms before purchasing artwork from Decor Vibes.

Artwork Handling and Fragility

Decor Vibes artwork, including acrylic, glass, metal and UV-printed products, is decorative and may be damaged by impacts, friction, scratches, improper handling or storage. Handle all artwork carefully.

Wall Hanging and Installation

Customers are responsible for choosing suitable, weight-rated mounting hardware and ensuring the wall, anchors, brackets, adhesives and other supports are appropriate for the artwork's size, weight and material. Follow the hardware manufacturer's instructions. Decor Vibes strongly recommends installation by a qualified professional handyman or installer. To the extent permitted by law, Decor Vibes is not responsible for damage or injury resulting from improper installation, inadequate wall support or unsuitable mounting systems.

Printed Back Surfaces and Ink Chipping

Some artworks have UV-cured ink on the reverse of acrylic or glass. This printed layer may chip, scratch or peel if scraped, struck, rubbed against abrasive surfaces or otherwise mishandled. Damage caused by neglect, misuse, impact, improper installation, cleaning, storage or handling is not considered a manufacturing defect and is not eligible for a refund, free repair or replacement except where required by law.

Delivery and Inspection

Inspect artwork promptly on receipt or pickup and contact Decor Vibes about any damage or concerns. Damage that occurs after receipt because of mishandling, falls, impact or improper installation is the customer's responsibility. Manufacturing defects and damage present on delivery are assessed separately.

Cleaning and Care

Use appropriate gentle, non-abrasive cleaning methods. Avoid scraping the printed back, harsh chemicals, abrasive materials, excessive pressure and rough contact with the artwork.

Refunds and Replacements

Refunds or replacements are not offered for customer-caused damage, including damage from incorrect hanging, falling due to unsuitable hardware, impacts, scratches, chipped ink or improper maintenance. This does not affect statutory rights or remedies for defective, misdescribed or otherwise nonconforming products.

Liability and Consumer Rights

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Decor Vibes excludes liability for losses arising from customer misuse, negligent handling or improper mounting. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any right, warranty, remedy or liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.

Acceptance

By purchasing from Decor Vibes, customers acknowledge the importance of careful handling and proper installation and understand that customer-caused damage is generally not eligible for a refund or replacement, subject to applicable law.

Website Use and Eligibility

These terms apply to decorvibes.ca and its online services, operated by Decor Vibes Inc. Please review them before using the website or placing an order. To place an order, you must have legal capacity to enter into a purchase agreement, or act with the involvement of a parent or guardian who places the order. Keep your account credentials confidential and provide accurate contact, delivery and payment information.

You must not use the website for fraud, unlawful activity, harassment, infringement of others’ rights or unauthorized collection of personal information. Do not upload malicious code, bypass security, impersonate another person or disrupt the website. We may restrict access reasonably necessary to address misuse, without removing your rights regarding existing purchases or preventing lawful reviews.

Copyright, Trademarks and Permitted Use

The Decor Vibes name, logo, website design, text, photographs, videos and artwork are owned by Decor Vibes or used with permission from their respective owners. Applicable copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws protect these materials. You may browse the website and save or print product information for personal shopping purposes. This permission does not authorize copying artwork for printing, resale, redistribution or commercial use.

Do not remove ownership notices or use our branding in a way that suggests an unauthorized affiliation or endorsement. Framing our website or presenting our content under another business’s branding requires permission. Ordinary links to our public pages are welcome if they are lawful and not misleading. Buying a physical artwork does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights.

Customer Photos, Artwork and Other Submissions

You retain ownership of your photographs and any rights you hold in uploaded artwork. Sending us a photograph does not transfer copyright to Decor Vibes. You grant us and necessary service providers limited permission to store, review, edit, reproduce and process your files to prepare and fulfil your order and provide related support. You must have the necessary copyright and other permissions, including appropriate permission for images of other people and children.

Private customer photos, family portraits, proofs and order messages will not be published, displayed in our portfolio or used in advertising without separate permission. Please do not send payment-card details or unrelated sensitive information through ordinary messages or upload fields. We may decline content that is unlawful or infringes another person’s rights.

If you voluntarily submit a public review, you allow us to display that review and the name you choose to display with it in connection with the reviewed product or service. Reviews must reflect your experience, disclose any incentive and respect others’ rights. We may remove unlawful, abusive, fraudulent or irrelevant content; we do not prohibit honest negative reviews. General suggestions do not transfer ownership to us or create an obligation to pay compensation. Private customer uploads are not treated as public reviews or unrestricted submissions.

Customer Privacy

We take customer information very seriously and are committed to protecting personal details and private photographs. We do not sell or rent customer information for money. Limited information must be processed by Shopify, payment providers, delivery companies and other necessary service providers to operate the website and fulfil orders. Information may also be disclosed where legally required or otherwise permitted under the Privacy Policy. Advertising-related processing described in that policy may constitute “sharing” or “sale” under some privacy laws, even without a monetary payment.

We are committed to reasonable safeguards, access limited to legitimate purposes and retention only for reasonable business or legal needs. No website can guarantee absolute security. For privacy questions, requests to access or correct information, withdrawal of consent or deletion requests, contact sales@decorvibes.ca. Requests are subject to applicable law, identity verification and lawful record-retention requirements. Personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy; the specific promise above requiring separate permission for public use of private customer photos also applies.

Cookies and Communication Preferences

Cookies and similar technologies may support the shopping cart, checkout, security, preferences, analytics and advertising. Details and applicable privacy choices are explained in our Privacy Policy. Use the site’s privacy controls where available, your browser settings, or contact us for assistance. Blocking cookies may affect some website functions. Non-essential processing is subject to consent where required by law; merely using the website does not replace legally required consent.

Order confirmations, delivery updates and requests for artwork approval are service communications. Promotional messages are subject to applicable consent requirements and an unsubscribe option. You do not have to agree to marketing to place an order or obtain a custom-art proof.

Custom Artwork and Customer Approval

We edit and prepare your custom artwork first, then contact you by email or phone to review the proposed changes. We wait for your explicit approval before printing. Not responding does not count as approval. Check the proof for spelling, faces, cropping, orientation, size and requested changes. We strive for the highest quality achievable from the source image and will discuss material image-quality concerns before production. Slight screen-to-print colour differences can occur, but this does not excuse defects or material differences from the approved order.

Provide accurate contact details and check your inbox, spam folder and voicemail. We will make several reasonable attempts to reach you. If we cannot obtain your approval, production remains on hold and the timeline may change. Decor Vibes is not responsible for delays caused by a customer’s failure to respond, subject to applicable law. Silence does not authorize printing or automatically forfeit a payment.

Custom and personalized artwork is final sale and non-refundable for change of mind, subject to rights and remedies required by law. This does not exclude remedies for shipping damage, defects, incorrect products or material differences from the approved order. Request changes or cancellation promptly; changes may not be possible once approved production begins. Any additional work or charges must be agreed before proceeding. Mounting is installed on the artwork before shipping. Wall installation is not included unless separately agreed.

Prices, Orders and Availability

Prices are in Canadian dollars unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes depend on the relevant delivery address and tax rules. The purchase total, including applicable taxes and shipping or delivery charges, is disclosed before you complete the purchase. Any promotional conditions apply as stated with the offer. Confirm the dimensions, material and orientation before ordering; acrylic glass is an acrylic material rather than mineral glass.

We work to keep product information accurate but may need to correct genuine errors or availability information. If a material error affects your order, we will contact you before substituting an item, changing agreed specifications or requesting additional payment. If we cannot fulfil an order, we will notify you and refund payment for unfulfilled goods as required by law. Later price or policy changes do not retrospectively change an agreed order.

Shipping, Local Delivery and Returns

Local delivery is a flat $20 CAD anywhere in Calgary and Airdrie. Applicable taxes are additional and disclosed before purchase. Other delivery options and charges are shown at checkout or in an agreed quote. Processing time is separate from transit time. For custom work, processing follows final artwork approval and confirmation of order-specific arrangements. Delivery estimates may be affected by carrier delays or events outside our control, without removing statutory cancellation or refund rights.

We guarantee safe arrival and will replace artwork damaged during shipping at no additional cost. Contact us promptly, preferably within 48 hours, with your order number and photographs of the damage and packaging. Retain packaging if safe to do so. The 48-hour request helps us investigate and does not automatically invalidate a later claim or limit legal rights.

Non-custom artwork is eligible for returns and exchanges under our Refund Policy. Contact us before returning anything to obtain instructions and confirm the return address. For change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for return shipping and secure packaging, with artwork returned undamaged in its original condition. These conditions do not shift costs to customers where applicable law requires Decor Vibes to bear them for defective, incorrect or misdescribed goods.

Third-Party Links and Shopify

Our website may link to external websites or use third-party services. A link does not necessarily mean that we endorse the provider or control its content. Review the provider’s terms and privacy practices before sharing information or purchasing through it. We are not responsible for independent third-party content to the extent permitted by law; this does not remove our responsibilities for your Decor Vibes order.

Shopify hosts our online store and provides commerce services. Your purchase is from Decor Vibes, which handles fulfilment and customer service. Shopify and payment providers have their own applicable terms and privacy notices.

Website Availability and Limits of Responsibility

We take reasonable care with website information but cannot promise uninterrupted access, perfect accuracy or that every device will display content identically. Maintenance, technical issues and events outside our control may affect availability. General website content is provided as available, subject to applicable law. These statements do not override product descriptions, approved proofs, express commitments or legally required warranties and remedies.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect business losses caused solely by reliance on general website content. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer remedies. Our artwork-handling and installation terms do not excuse defects in artwork or mounting supplied by us.

Responsibility for Unlawful Submissions or Misuse

To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for reasonable, documented losses arising from a third-party claim directly caused by your unlawful use of the website, deliberate misuse or submission of content you had no right to provide. Any responsibility is limited to the extent the loss is attributable to your conduct and does not cover Decor Vibes’ own negligence or breach. We will notify you of a relevant claim and will not agree to a settlement imposing obligations on you without your consent. This provision does not limit lawful reviews, complaints or statutory consumer rights.

Changes, Severability and Applicable Law

We may update these terms for future use and orders, identifying the revised date and providing additional notice where required. Updates do not retrospectively alter agreed purchases or override consent requirements. If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law.

Alberta law and applicable federal Canadian law govern these terms, subject to mandatory consumer protections and court rights in your home jurisdiction. Contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. Nothing prevents you from contacting a regulator or seeking a legal remedy.
